Join the Riversdale Historic Site & Museum for our Needles and Narratives series, where we explore how needlework can be a window into lives, labor, and movements traditionally left out of historical narratives.

This session highlights needlework as a form of resistance, past and present, focusing on abolitionist activity, the Underground Railroad, and the tradition of Storyquilting. Then, participants engage in an expert-led workshop, learning a new skill in stitchwork and contributing to the growing Riversdale community quilt!

Best for ages six to twelve; all ages welcome. For payments at the door, please arrive ten minutes early.
